When dried on a palette, these paints can be reconstituted with water. Simply add some water with a brush, and you're good to go. However, it's important to note that watercolor paints are not suitable for painting on glass, as they require an absorbent surface. Acrylic paints can be used on glass, but they can be difficult to achieve transparency. Poster paint may work, but it is temporary and can be washed off with water.
As for the "archival" nature of these watercolor paints, when used on acid-free "archival" paper, they are as permanent as any other medium. However, pigments can change when exposed to light, and fading will occur. To maintain their quality, it's best to store watercolor paints in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and keep the pans or tubes tightly closed to prevent them from drying out.
To achieve vibrant colors or specific effects, it's recommended to use high-quality paper designed for watercolors, apply multiple layers for depth, and mix colors on a palette before applying to the paper.
